Breast cancer treatment in Translational Oncology

Porsolt is proud to announce another paper, this time in the area of Oncology, published in the most recent issue of “Translational Oncology”.

The paper highlights the tumor reducing qualities of Fingolimod in both in vitro and in vivo models of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), including a repression of metastases, and suggests the merits of further evaluation of Fingolimod as a potential therapeutic for TNBC. A variety of methodologies and techniques were used, including 3D spheroid models, orthotopic syngeneic and xenograft models, tumor resection model, and lung metastasis model coupled with in vitro and in vivo imaging.
